Would you like people to love and appreciate you more? Would you like to enjoy more joyful, connected relationships?

The journey begins with you. With loving and appreciating yourself just as you are.

This warty, lumpy succulent is not the most attractive plant. It’s just being itself, in all its lumpy wartiness!

We humans are different. From a young age, we are told all the ways we should behave in order to get along and to get what we want. If you ask nicely you’ll get that treat or a walk to the park. If you clean your room you can have ice cream. If you play nicely and share. others will want to be your friend.

We spend a lot of time believing that if we behave well and correct the parts of ourselves that are bad (our ‘warts’ if you like) we’ll get what we want.

None of that advice is good or bad. The adults in your young life are usually trying to help you to make your way through life with ease. As they were taught.

And as you’ve taught your kids if you have them. It’s wise not to judge those adults or yourself in this role – everyone is doing the best they can. And we’ve all managed to have some success, to love and be loved, to engage in meaningful pursuits.

But do you have that yearning for something more in your life? Things you’d love that you’ve worked for and can’t seem to achieve?

You don’t have to hang onto all of those beliefs you learned as a small child.

There’s one real truth. You are a part of a magnificent universe and you are the only one who can bring your particular gifts to the world.

You don’t need to know more or be more in order to have what you’d really love in your relationships, your finances, your career or the other things you’d love to create.

It’s about changing your focus.

Focusing on what you think is wrong with you, what you think needs to change, brings you more of what you’ve been experiencing in your life to date.

More sense of frustration and futility, more resentment about working hard and not getting ahead, more misunderstanding or distance in relationships, more financial frustration.

That warty looking succulent sometimes does this…..

If you’ve found the way to blossom into your true nature more, I’d love to hear about it.

If you’re ready to enjoy more blooms in your life, touch base with me here I’d love to help.
